Rebekka Grossmann is an Assistant Professor of Migration History at Leiden University, specializing in the history of minority cultures with a focus on Jewish communities. She is affiliated with the Department of History and Leiden Jewish Studies Network, and her work bridges migration studies, visual culture, and global media communication.

Recent publications analyze photography's role in German-Jewish displacement and Nazi visual culture. She has received the Gerald Westheimer Fellowship (2024) and held postdoctoral positions at Hebrew University and The Hebrew University Franz Rosenzweig Minerva Research Center.
