Key themes include colonial vocabularies, intercultural communication, and the ambivalence of knowledge in conflict zones.
His recent publications and book chapters highlight trends in historiography, visual history, and archival studies, with a focus on German-Jewish scholars, Zionist Arabists, and Sephardi/Mizrahi communities.
