Rebekah Watson is a Lecturer in Work-based Learning & Development at De Montfort University, affiliated with the Faculty of Business and Law and the School of Leadership, Management and Marketing. She is dedicated to bridging higher education and industry through work-integrated learning, apprenticeships, and professional development programmes.

Her research and professional focus lies in work-based learning, inclusivity in higher education, and personal branding, with extensive experience across public, private, and non-profit sectors. She advocates for equity in academia through her active role in the Women’s Higher Education Network (WHEN), serving as Programme Facilitator for the Career Accelerator initiative.

Her consultancy work continues to empower women in higher education through career development initiatives.
