Rebecca Harris is a Lecturer on Law at Harvard Law School's Fashion Law Lab, where she has been part of the teaching team since its inception. She also serves as an associate in Gunderson Dettmer’s Boston office, specializing in corporate partnering and intellectual property commercialization. Her expertise spans fashion industry law, environmental/social sustainability, and emerging technologies like NFTs and the Metaverse.

Her research interests intersect fashion law, technology policy, and civil rights. She focuses on ethical practices in fashion supply chains, intellectual property protections in digital spaces, and legal frameworks for emerging technologies. Her work also addresses gender and LGBTQ+ rights within legal systems.
Rebecca previously served as a Victim Witness Advocate at the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office (2012–2017), specializing in child protection and trial support. She was a research assistant for Professor Jeannie Suk Gersen on Title IX enforcement and campus sexual assault policies.

She co-chaired Harvard Law School Lambda’s Political Committee and actively engages in policy advocacy. Her current course, the Fashion Law Lab, explores interdisciplinary legal challenges in the fashion industry.
