Rebecca Glyn-Blanco is an Associate Lecturer in the Department of Design at Goldsmiths, University of London. Her practice-based research focuses on migration systems, displacement of people, and their representation in material and visual culture. She co-leads System of Systems, a project investigating technology and bureaucracy in European asylum processes through exhibitions, publications, and discursive events.
Glyn-Blanco tutors second-year BA Design studio practice, integrating her research on migration and spatial politics into pedagogical approaches. Her work critically examines how bureaucratic systems shape migrant experiences and representation, with projects extending to visual documentation of border regimes and participatory research methodologies.
