Rebecca G. Mirick is an Associate Professor and BSW Program Coordinator at Salem State University's School of Social Work. She teaches clinical practice, human behavior, field education, research, and an elective on Understanding Suicide to undergraduate and graduate social work students. Dr. Mirick has also served as the chair of the BSW Curriculum Committee and the Salem State IRB.
Her educational background includes a PhD in Social Work from Simmons School of Social Work (2011) and an MSW from Boston University (2002).
Dr. Mirick's research focuses on suicide prevention, trauma-informed practice, anti-racist social work, and social work education.
