Erin Johnson serves as the Associate Dean of Behavioral Health Sciences at George Fox University. She is a full-time faculty member in the Department of Social Work, with expertise in trauma-informed practice, play therapy, and family therapy. Prior to her academic roles, she worked clinically with children and families affected by trauma and child welfare issues. Her teaching spans foundational social work theory, micro-level practice skills, and courses on trauma and recovery.

Her research and practice focus on empowering vulnerable populations through trauma-informed interventions and play therapy.
