Rebecca Fauth is a Research Associate Professor at the Eliot-Pearson Department of Child Study & Human Development, Tufts University. She holds a PhD in Developmental Psychology from Columbia University, an MS in Applied Statistics from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a BA in Psychology and Anthropology from College of the Holy Cross.
Her research focuses on applied evaluation of programs for children, youth, and families, emphasizing poverty, socioeconomic status, and social policy. She leads evaluations of home visiting programs, juvenile justice system collaborations, and community-based initiatives. Notable projects include a longitudinal trial of a statewide home visiting program and adapting home visiting for justice-involved young parents.
Rebecca is also a senior research fellow at Child Trends and works with Tufts’ TIER group. She has managed policy evaluations at the National Children’s Bureau in London and contributed to national studies like the Early Head Start Research and the Moving to Opportunity project. Her work bridges research and practice, aiming to improve program effectiveness for vulnerable populations.
