Associate Professor Rebecca Dolan is a member of the Adelaide Business School at the University of Adelaide, within the Faculty of Arts, Business, Law and Economics. Her research focuses on consumer engagement across industries such as wine, tourism, and education. She explores how brands leverage social media, influencer marketing, and diversity strategies to drive positive behavioral change. A key area of study involves understanding consumer trends in low/no-alcohol (NOLO) wines and sustainable packaging alternatives in the wine industry. Dr. Dolan also investigates student engagement in universities, particularly through social media platforms like Facebook, to enhance sense of belonging.
Her work has been supported by grants from organizations including Wine Australia, the Wine Grape Council of SA, and Food South Australia. She supervises Masters and PhD students and leads programs in Marketing and Wine Business. Dr. Dolan collaborates with industry partners to address marketing challenges, such as barriers to NOLO wine adoption and sustainability practices.
