Dr. Raúl Munguía serves as Assistant Professor at Nazareth University's School of Music, where he directs orchestras and string studies. He previously held the position of Director of Orchestras & Head of the String Area at Pittsburg State University from 2012 until joining Nazareth in 2023.
- Education: Doctor of Musical Arts in Orchestral Conducting (Texas Tech University), Master in Orchestral Conducting & Violin Performance (Northwestern State University of Louisiana), Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance (University of Southern Mississippi)
His research interests span orchestral conducting pedagogy, chamber music performance, and music education advocacy. He has conducted major orchestras across Honduras, Chile, Serbia, and the US, with particular emphasis on opera and youth ensemble development.

- Musician of the Year (State Music Clubs of Kansas)
As co-founder of the Pittsburg Festival of the Arts (now in its 11th edition with over 15 concerts), he demonstrates strong commitment to community engagement. He performs regularly with Duo Capriccioso alongside flutist Denissa Rivas.
