Robert Lehmann

Robert Lehmann is a Professor of Music at the University of Southern Maine's Osher School of Music, serving as Director of Strings and Orchestral Activities. He conducts the Southern Maine Symphony Orchestra and Portland Youth Symphony Orchestra, and holds leadership roles with the North Shore Philharmonic Orchestra and White Mountain Bach Festival. A renowned violinist and conductor, he has performed internationally and led orchestras across the US. His discography includes a 2009 Centaur Records release of Manuel M. Ponce's chamber music.

His 2012 Mahler performance was acclaimed as Portland’s top concert event. He is a sought-after adjudicator, speaker, and collaborator, including the Lehmann Duo with his wife, Kim.
