Ray Anderson is a Professor of Jazz Studies at Stony Brook University. Recognized as "the most exciting slide brass player of his generation" by the Penguin Guide to Jazz, Anderson has demonstrated extraordinary versatility across jazz, blues, funk, and experimental music through his leadership of diverse ensembles.
