Raslan Ibrahim is an Associate Professor of Political Science and International Relations at the State University of New York at Geneseo. He holds visiting research fellow positions at the Geneva Graduate Institute (2024–2025) and has held fellowships at institutions including Binghamton University’s Institute for Genocide and Mass Atrocity Prevention. His research focuses on international relations theory, sovereignty, human rights, and regional conflict resolution in the Middle East. He has taught at Haverford College, the University of Denver, and Charles University, among others, and worked as a correspondent for BBC Arabic and Israel Broadcasting Authority covering Israeli-Palestinian affairs.

Research Interests: Ibrahim’s work examines sovereignty dynamics in regional organizations like the League of Arab States, human rights frameworks in conflict zones, and Middle East peace processes. He emphasizes bridging theoretical and practical divides in conflict resolution through interdisciplinary approaches. Recent projects include analyzing Arab League mediation strategies and global south perspectives in international relations.
