Mona Saleh

Dr. Mona Saleh is an Associate Research Fellow at the GIGA Institute for Middle East Studies and a Lecturer at Hamburg University's Department of Social Sciences. Her research focuses on regional organizations (e.g., Arab League, African Union), institutional legitimacy, and WMD disarmament. She holds M.A. degrees from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (Geneva) and the American University in Cairo (AUC).

Key affiliations include the University of Duisburg-Essen (ANCIP project), NATO Defense College (MED Fellow), and the Cairo Review of Global Affairs. She has presented at global conferences like ISA Annual Conference 2024 and participates in networks like the International Studies Association (ISA).
