Dr. Rannfrid I. Thelle serves as Associate Professor and Religion Program Coordinator at Wichita State University, specializing in Old Testament and Hebrew Bible studies with international scholarly recognition.

Her research explores biblical prophecy, holy war, gender-power dynamics, and historical-critical methodologies within ancient Near Eastern contexts. Significant publications include "Discovering Babylon" (Routledge, 2018), "Ask God: Divine Consultation in the Literature of the Hebrew Bible" (2002), and "Approaches to the Chosen Place" (2012), alongside edited works like "New Perspectives on Old Testament Prophecy and History" (2015).
