Randy Schwartz

Randy Schwartz, MSPH, is a Part Time Lecturer at the Muskie School of Public Service, University of Southern Maine. With over 17 years of public health leadership, he served as Division Director of the Maine Bureau of Health (now Maine CDC) and held key roles at the American Cancer Society (ACS), including strategic leadership in cancer control initiatives. His expertise spans chronic disease prevention, tobacco control, and community health strategies.

Dr. Schwartz’s research focuses on organizational strategies for cancer control, public health policy, and trauma-informed resilience programs.
