Rami Alsharif is a Lecturer in Human Resource Management at Adam Smith Business School, University of Glasgow, where he completed his PhD in Management. He holds an MBA in International Human Resource Management from Coventry University. Prior to academia, he worked in banking and provided consultancy for a London-based non-profit. His research focuses on organizational trust, fairness, identity threat, and refugee integration, with a particular interest in stigmatized groups' workplace experiences.
Education: PhD (Management, University of Glasgow), MBA (International HRM, Coventry University, Distinction), B.Com, PGCAP, and professional certifications (RET Fellow, AFHEA).
Research interests include: employee trust dynamics, HRM policies for marginalized groups, stereotype threat mitigation, and refugee labor market integration. He applies mixed-methods research using SPSS, SEM/PLS, and NVivo.
Key contributions include a report on religious stigma challenges for Muslims (Scottish Parliament) and co-authoring chapters on trust in organizations. His teaching spans undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including modules on contemporary HRM issues and employer perceptions in digital recruitment.
