Rama Chorpash is an Associate Professor of Product Design at Parsons School of Design, The New School. His work explores the intersection of people and everyday objects, emphasizing social use and transdisciplinary approaches. He has designed projects ranging from office furniture for Herman Miller to experiential installations like a roller-skate disco in Central Park. His academic leadership includes organizing symposia, judging design competitions (e.g., I.D. Annual Design Review, Core77 Design Awards), and moderating panels. Chorpash’s research focuses on business design, sustainable design, and social innovation, aiming to drive positive societal impact through design.
