Rakesh Gupta

Associate Professor Rakesh Gupta holds a position in the Department of Business at Charles Darwin University's Faculty of Arts and Society. His research focuses on international finance, environmental economics, cryptocurrency, emerging markets, and stock market volatility. He has collaborated with universities in Australia, the USA, South Africa, Thailand, Vietnam, India, and China, and presented invited lectures globally on topics like international finance and corporate planning.

His research often addresses UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly environmental sustainability and economic growth.

Grants & Projects: He leads an AI innovation project (2024–2027) focused on agriculture, forestry, fisheries, and new energy sectors, collaborating with Selvanathan and others. This project emphasizes artificial intelligence and technology parks.
