Dr Aditi Gupta is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting & Financial Management at King's Business School, King's College London. She holds a PhD and MSc in Accounting & Finance from Lancaster University and specializes in corporate governance, executive compensation, and market-based accounting research.

Her research explores corporate governance, including executive compensation, board diversity, ESG issues, and director reputation. Recent work focuses on corporate governance in China and public health equity in research participation. Her publications appear in journals like Corporate Governance: An International Review, Public Health in Practice, and Accounting and Business Research, covering topics such as political connections in executive pay, diversity in clinical research, and regulatory impact on performance pay.
Dr Gupta’s teaching has been nominated for multiple King’s Education Awards, and she received the KBS Doctoral Supervisory Excellence 2024 Award nomination. She previously served as Deputy Programme Director for the MSc in ESG Management and BSc in Business Management and currently leads widening participation initiatives.
