Binam Ghimire is an Associate Professor of Finance (research) at the Aberdeen Business School, Robert Gordon University. He holds an MBA, MSc in Finance, and a PhD in Finance and Economics from Liverpool John Moores University. His research focuses on sustainable corporate finance, ESG ratings, cryptocurrency valuation, and socially responsible investments. He has published in top-tier journals such as The Energy Journal and European Journal of Finance, and serves on the editorial board of Journal of Economics and Business Review.
Binam teaches finance modules including Investment, Portfolio Theory, and Risk Management, utilizing tools like Bloomberg and statistical software (STATA, R).
