Rajiv Amarnani is an Associate Professor in the Management & Organisations Department at the UWA Business School, University of Western Australia. He holds a PhD in Organizational Behavior from the Australian National University (2016). His research focuses on workplace aggression in customer service, career development across lifespans, and self-concept in organizational settings. He has published in top journals like Journal of Applied Psychology and Human Resource Management, and serves on the editorial board of Journal of Vocational Behavior. He has secured over $1.5M in ARC grants, including DP20 and DP25.
Teaching roles include MBA and undergraduate HRM programs at UWA, with nominations for teaching awards. His work contributes to UN SDGs related to quality education and decent work. Key grants include 'Demystifying employee disclosure of retirement plans at work' (2025-2028) and 'Older workers & psychological contracts: A dynamic perspective' (2020-2026).
