Raina Haque is a Professor of Practice of Technology at Wake Forest University School of Law and Founding Attorney at Erdõs Intellectual Property Law. Previously, she served as an Adjunct Professor of Computational Law at Duke University School of Law and as a judicial law clerk at the United States Bankruptcy Court. She sits on the editorial board of the MIT Computational Law Report and contributes to the North Carolina Bar Association’s Future of the Law annual report on blockchain technologies.
Her education includes a J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law and a B.A. in Bioinformatics from Wellesley College (2007). Prior to law, she worked as a fintech business analyst and software engineer at Merrill Lynch in New York City, and as a research fellow at the National Institutes of Environmental Health Sciences in Neurotoxicology and Nuclear Magnetic Resonance labs.
Her research focuses on computational law, blockchain technologies, and the intersection of law, ethics, and emerging technologies. She emphasizes hands-on lab experiences for law students in tech-related legal domains and has pioneered guidance on IP matters in blockchain. Her career bridges legal practice, technology, and interdisciplinary research in artificial intelligence and regulatory systems.
Professional engagements include lecturing at major law schools and professional series in Silicon Valley and NYC, and advising on global financial technologies. Her work highlights the application of neural networks and computational methods to legal challenges in evolving tech landscapes.
