- Cholestatic diseases in infants and children where bile flow from the liver is reduced or blocked
- Perinatal pathology including fetal malformations, placental pathology, and perinatal autopsy
- Gastrointestinal pathology in children
Analysis of Dr. Morotti's recent publications (2014-2025) reveals a strong focus on pediatric liver diseases, particularly cholestatic conditions and hepatoblastoma. Her work also extensively covers placental pathology, gastrointestinal disorders in children, and molecular diagnostics for pediatric conditions. A significant portion of her research involves multidisciplinary approaches to pediatric conditions, often collaborating with specialists in gastroenterology, surgery, and neonatology.
