Rafał Warzecha

Rafał Warzecha is a Tutor at the Department of Media Art within the Faculty of Graphics and Media Art at the E. Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław. He holds a PhD and teaches subjects such as Fundamentals of Photography, Photographic Imaging Techniques, and Filming Technology. His artistic career began in 2000, with teaching since 2003. He is affiliated with the Association of Polish Art Photographers.

Education: University of Zielona Góra (Faculty of Arts) and Higher School of Photography.

Research Focus: Explores themes of human existence, self-portraiture, and color through both contemporary and Victorian photographic techniques. His work emphasizes artistic expression and technical mastery, with exhibitions in Poland and the Czech Republic. Key exhibitions include Masks (2016, Czech Republic) and Layers, auto-perceptions (2015, Łódź).

Publications: Catalogues from exhibitions like Globalisation and individuality (2017) and Error of the system (2015), documenting his artistic and curatorial contributions.
