Professor Rae Cooper is Director of the Australian Centre for Gender Equality and Inclusion at Work and Professor of Gender, Work and Employment Relations at the University of Sydney. She serves as President of the International Labor and Employment Relations Association and holds memberships in the Sydney Centre for Healthy Societies and the University of Sydney Nano Institute. Her educational background includes a BA(Hons) from UNSW and a PhD.
Her research examines gender dynamics in workplaces, focusing on women's labor participation, flexible work arrangements, industrial relations, and the future of work. Key interests include dismantling barriers in male-dominated fields (e.g., STEM, investment management) and addressing workplace sexual harassment.
