Radomir V. Matovic serves as a Researcher at the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade, maintaining a dual affiliation with the Institute of Chemistry, Technology and Metallurgy (ICTM) where he has advanced through research positions since 1992, currently holding the rank of Scientific Councilor.
His academic credentials from the University of Belgrade include:

Dr. Matovic's research specializes in synthetic organic chemistry with emphasis on developing novel methodologies for total synthesis of complex natural products and bioactive molecules. His work integrates medicinal chemistry principles to create efficient synthetic pathways for therapeutically relevant compounds, focusing on structural complexity and biological applicability.
He currently leads the "New SMART Synthesis" project (2022-2025, project code 7750119), funded by Serbia's Science Fund to establish rapid synthesis techniques for bioactive molecules. Previously, he contributed to a 2017 National Innovation Project under the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, demonstrating sustained focus on advancing synthetic chemistry frameworks in Serbian research.
