Rachel Roberts is an Associate Professor of Music Leadership at the Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester. She serves as the Hamlin Family Director of the Institute for Music Leadership and Director of ESM Strategic Initiatives. Her work focuses on developing artistic and executive skills in music leaders through programs like the MA in Music Leadership and the Paul R. Judy Center for Innovation and Research.

Her research interests bridge music education and organizational leadership, emphasizing practical skill development for musicians. She has spearheaded experiential programs at New England Conservatory and Atlanta Symphony Orchestra (ASO), including the ASO's "new traditions" initiative and strategic planning engagement.
Rachel was selected as a Fellow of Leadership Communications during Harvard's Asia Leadership Initiatives trek. She has led over 32 salary negotiation workshops for AAUW, impacting 850+ women in Boston, and continues pursuing an EdD in Higher Education Leadership at the University of Rochester.
