Rachel Jones is an Associate Professor in the School of Education at the University of Wollongong, Australia. She holds a PhD from the same institution and is affiliated with the Faculty of the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities. Her research focuses on movement behaviors (physical activity and sedentary behavior) in young children (3-5 years), with a particular emphasis on intervention strategies, early childhood educator professional development, and quality improvement in early education settings. Dr Jones also teaches research methodology at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and contributes to the Early Years program.
