Marc de Rosnay

Professor Marc de Rosnay is a faculty member at the School of Psychology, University of Wollongong, where he serves as Academic Director. He holds a D.Phil. in Developmental Psychology from Oxford University and has dedicated his career to understanding emotional and moral development in early childhood.

His research explores how young children understand emotions, the interplay between emotion knowledge and their experiences, and the role of self-regulation and theory of mind in developmental outcomes. He has published extensively on topics including empathy, motor skill interventions, and educational quality assessment.

Recent publications highlight his work on empathy and peer relationships, fine motor assessment tools, and educational leadership interventions. His grants focus on early childhood assessment, allied health pathways, and community-based interventions in vulnerable Australian populations.
