Rachel Dunk

Professor Rachel Dunk is the University Lead for Carbon Literacy at Manchester Metropolitan University, director of CL@McrMet initiatives, and a leader in climate education and blue carbon research. She collaborates with the Carbon Literacy Project and serves as a Climate Ambassadors representative funded by the UK Department for Education.

Research Interests span climate education frameworks, carbon sequestration in coastal saltmarshes, and sustainability training for higher education. Her blue carbon research quantifies greenhouse gas storage in UK wetlands, while the STRATEGIES project integrates Carbon Literacy into EU/UK game development programs.
