Rachael Quinn

Rachael Quinn is a Lecturer and Clinical Link Tutor at the University of Sunderland, specializing in the BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing Practice program. She is a Registered Adult Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and an Independent Nurse Prescriber. With clinical experience since 2006, her background includes chronic pain management, neuromodulation, and roles in general surgery, neurosurgery, and neurology. Her research focuses on improving patient care through neuromodulation therapies for chronic neuropathic pain.

Teaching responsibilities include modules across all years of the Adult Nursing program, with a focus on clinical practice and evidence-based care. As a Clinical Link Tutor, she oversees student placements at Newcastle Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Her work bridges academic teaching and clinical expertise, emphasizing practical skills development for nursing students.
