Donna Marley is a Senior Lecturer in Adult Nursing Practice at the University of Sunderland. She is a Registered Adult Nurse and member of the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), with a clinical background in urology and public health. Her current roles include module lead for NRS200 Application of Evidence-Based Practice for Nurses (a Level 5 module), and part-time Deputy Faculty Academic Support. She also serves as the Academic Integrity Lead for the undergraduate adult nursing course and Clinical Link for PIVO spoke placements.
- Teaching focuses on clinical skills/simulation, public health, and research methodology across years 1-3 of the BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing Practice program.
- Research interests include public health strategies in healthcare and widening participation in higher education.
- Current research project: Investigating first-year nursing students' use of Studiosity prior to submitting NRS100 assessments.
