Dr. Rachael Peckham is a Professor in the Department of English at Marshall University. She teaches courses focused on creative nonfiction, autobiography, memoir, and the personal essay.
- Education: PhD in Creative Writing (Ohio University), MFA in Creative Writing (Georgia College and State University), BA in English (Hope College)
Her research and creative work centers on creative nonfiction, personal essay, lyric essay, memoir, and prose poetry, often exploring themes of family, grief, flight, and farming. Her writing has been recognized in the Best American Essays series.
