Rachael Walker (they/them) is a Part-Time Lecturer in the Department of English at the University of Washington, specializing in creative writing pedagogy and queer narrative experimentation. Their work intersects with Queer Studies, Gender Studies, and Nonfiction Prose, with a focus on structural innovation and themes of family, embodiment, and place.

Rachael's research explores queer identity through hybrid forms, blending fiction and nonfiction in works examining eating disorders, 2014 Tumblr culture, and Seattle's urban environments.
