Rebecca Meacham is a Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, affiliated with the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences and the Department of English. She holds a PhD from the University of Cincinnati and an MFA from Bowling Green State University. As Director of the Writing and Applied Arts program, co-Chair of English, and Director of the UW Green Bay Teaching Press, she plays a central role in academic and creative initiatives.
Her work spans fiction, nonfiction, and interdisciplinary art forms, including collaborations where her prose has been translated into Polish and carved into woodblocks. She co-founded Green Bay’s UntitledTown Book and Author Festival and has contributed to literary and artistic communities through leadership roles.
Meacham’s recent publications include the short story collection Let’s Do, the flash fiction collection Morbid Curiosities, and the Pushcart-nominated nonfiction piece Feather Rousing in Gigantic Sequins. Her research interests focus on innovative storytelling, intertextuality, and the intersection of writing with visual and performative arts.
