Nathan Alling Long is a Professor at Stockton University in the Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies department, where he teaches creative writing and literature. His academic journey includes a BA in Literature from the University of Maryland, an MA from Carnegie Mellon University, and an MFA from Virginia Commonwealth University, where he was the university’s first Truman Capote Literary Scholar.

His stories have been recognized in Best MicroFiction 2020 and Best Small Fiction 2023.
