Rachael Newman is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Portsmouth's Faculty of Business & Law, School of Organisations, Systems and People. She transitioned from a 20-year Human Resources career in global brands, public/private sectors, and charities to academia, joining as part-time teaching staff in 2019 and moving to full-time roles in 2022. Her research focuses on volunteer wellbeing within the Church of England and employer strategies to balance productivity with employee health, aligning with UN SDG 4 (Quality Education).
