Rachael Green is a part-time doctoral researcher at the Sheffield University Management School, specializing in Work Psychology within the Department of Work, Employment and Organisations. She holds a BSc in Psychology (2013) from the Open University and an MRes in Social Science Research Methods (Distinction) from the University of East Anglia, with a focus on qualitative methods in social psychology.
Her research investigates barriers to promotion for visually impaired employees through a Bourdieusian lens, engaging with frameworks like the Equality Act and the Social Model of Disability. She emphasizes inclusive language and postmodern theories of disability.
Rachael is supervised by Professor Pauline Dibben and Dr. Anna Zueva. Her work connects to broader themes of workplace equity and organizational dynamics.
