Qin-Qin Lu is a Research Fellow at the McDonald Institute for Archaeological Research, University of Cambridge, and holds the position of Fellow and Keeper of the Works of Art at St Edmund's College. Her work centers on applying scientific methods to archaeological materials, with affiliations spanning Central Asia, East Asia, and Mesopotamia.
Her research explores Material Culture, Artefact Analysis & Technology, with specialized expertise in Glass Analysis and Isotope Analysis. She focuses on ancient technologies and trade networks, particularly the Silk Roads, across periods including the Copper/Bronze Age, Iron Age, and Medieval eras.
