Priyanshu Sinha

Priyanshu Sinha is a Postgraduate Researcher and Sessional Tutor at the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol), affiliated with the College of Arts, Technology and Environment. His primary role focuses on advancing sustainable concrete technologies through research and teaching. He holds a B.Tech from MAKAUT, an M.Tech from KIIT, and is a PhD candidate at UWE.

Research Interests: Priyanshu specializes in sustainable construction materials, including alternative binders, cement chemistry, and carbon sequestration. His work integrates industry collaboration, with funded projects addressing Biomass Ash-Based Binders (Saint-Gobain), Low Carbon Cement (Swiss Agency), and Martian Concrete (EXTEM). He also explores 3D printing in concrete and durability under extreme conditions.

Awards: He secured a fully funded scholarship from UWE’s College of Arts, Technology and Environment and received an EPSRC unconditional offer for doctoral training in Advanced Composites at the University of Bristol. Professional Certifications include Project Management Professional (PMP) and Lean Six Sigma White Belt.

Teaching: He instructs courses like Transport Engineering Design and Civil Engineering Field Study. Supervision includes co-mentoring Meenasha Surendran on geopolymer paste optimization. Industry Experience spans roles at IITs (Project Scientist/Associate) and IPC(H)L as a CAD Engineer.
