Priya Bhide is a Clinical Senior Lecturer at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), affiliated with the Women’s Health Research Unit within the Centre for Public Health and Policy. She holds academic roles at the Bart’s and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry, including module lead for obstetrics and gynaecology undergraduate teaching since 2018. With over 20 years of clinical experience in reproductive medicine and assisted conception, she works at the Homerton Fertility Centre.
Her research focuses on reproductive endocrinology, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), subfertility, and IVF. She leads major trials such as the TILT (Time-Lapse Imaging Trial), a multi-center randomized controlled trial assessing embryo imaging in IVF, funded by Bart’s Charity. She is also a co-applicant on the NIHR-funded HELP Infertility? trial. Her work spans clinical trials, guideline development, and peer review for major journals like Acta Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica.
Bhide supervises multiple PhD/MD students on topics including fertility trial methodology, progesterone in unexplained infertility, and maternal complications in twin pregnancies. She contributes to professional bodies such as the RCOG’s Reproductive Medicine Clinical Studies Group and the Cochrane Gynaecology and Subfertility group.
