Priscilla Peña serves as an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the University of St. Thomas' Opus College of Business, specializing in brand ethics and consumer behavior. Her research examines corporate authenticity in social advocacy and consumer responses to digital privacy violations.

Her research program critically analyzes inauthentic brand activism ("woke-washing") and its psychological impact on consumer identity, alongside brand recovery strategies for restoring authenticity after ethical controversies. Additional focus areas include consumer protection behaviors during privacy breaches and the role of negative emotions in marketplace interactions. This work bridges marketing ethics, digital security, and consumer psychology.
