Dr. Prachi Srivastava is a tenured Associate Professor at the University of Ottawa’s School of International Development and Global Studies (SIDGS) and a Senior Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Sussex’s Centre for International Education. She holds a D.Phil. in Education Policy from the University of Oxford. Her work focuses on global education policy, privatization trends in education systems, and the role of global philanthropy in shaping educational landscapes in the Global South, particularly India. She pioneered research on 'low-fee private schooling' and has advised organizations like the European Commission, UNESCO, and DFID-UK.
