- Master of Arts in Animation from UCLA, featuring thesis 'Zaal' combining Ferdowsi's 'Book of Kings' research with animated production
Professor Afshar's research centers on Animation and Digital Media with deep specialization in Visual Development and Character Design. His internationally exhibited work—including the animated series 'Rostam in Wonderland', '1PA2PA' comics, and 'Tehran' graphic novel—demonstrates innovative fusion of Persian literary traditions with contemporary digital techniques.
