Daryl Marsh is a Senior Lecturer and Course Leader of the sixth-ranked UK animation degree course at Staffordshire University's Digital, Tech, Innovation & Business school. With 16 years of teaching experience, he focuses on evolving pedagogy to adapt to emerging technologies. His practice-based research explores layered audience experiences in VR/AR/WebAR, emphasizing interoperability and site-specific sculptural art installations.

- BA (Hons) in Film, Photography and Animation (West Surrey College of Art and Design, 1989)
- Postgraduate Cert in Higher and Professional Education
Research Interests: Immersive art experiences, metaverse collaborations, audience engagement through visual narrative, and hybrid methodologies in animation. Current projects include AR giveaways, virtual exhibitions, and live event recordings within the metaverse.
Teaching Expertise: Leads modules in character animation (2D/3D/Stop Motion), narrative structuring, VR/AR pipelines, and software training (Maya, Blender, Tilt Brush). Specializes in production design, cinematography, and pre-visualization workflows.
