Dr. Monireh Astani is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Creative Industries at the University of Staffordshire, leading the 2D Animation pathway. She holds a PhD in Media Studies from Maynooth University (Ireland), an MA in Animation from Tehran University of Art (Iran), and a BA in Visual Communication from Alzahra University (Iran). Her research explores animation’s role in education, well-being, cultural preservation, and immersive storytelling.
