Pissadakis Stavros

Dr. Pissadakis Stavros is a Research Director at the Institute of Electronic Structure and Laser (IESL) of the Foundation for Research and Technology Hellas (FORTH). He leads the Photonic Materials and Devices Laboratory (PMDL), focusing on disruptive photonics technologies for applications in sensing, actuation, and material characterization. His academic background includes a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering/Photonics from the University of Southampton, UK, and a Physics degree from the University of Crete, Greece.
