Tsilipakos Odysseas

Dr. Tsilipakos Odysseas is an Adjunct Lecturer at the Department of Materials Science and Technology, University of Crete (since 2020) and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute of Electronic Structure and Laser (IESL), Foundation for Research and Technology Hellas (FORTH). He holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2013) and has conducted research at institutions like Iowa State University (2016) and CNR in Italy (2021). His research focuses on metasurfaces, metamaterials, nonlinear optics, and optical resonators, with notable contributions to broadband phase control and reconfigurable optical components.

Awards & Grants: Principal Investigator of the PHOTOSURF Project (Hellenic Foundation for Research Innovation, 2021). Holder of the Stavros Niarchos Postdoctoral Fellowship and multiple scholarships, including IEEE Senior Member status (2019).
