Pinar Haytac

Dr. Pinar Haytac is an Assistant Professor at Nova Southeastern University's College of Optometry. She holds a B.S. in Vision Science and a Doctor of Optometry from the same institution (2015), followed by a residency in Primary Care with emphasis on Ocular Disease (2016). She currently serves as Director of Internal Residency Programs and Chair of the Residency Advisory Committee, focusing on advancing clinical education and mentorship for residents.

Her teaching spans first-year Optometric Theory and Methods labs, clinical supervision of third- and fourth-year students, and resident training. Research interests center on posterior segment diseases, particularly retinal conditions and glaucoma.
